Greenfield Communities engaged Articulon for the branding of Capeton, a master-planned community in Lillington, NC. Located on 820 acres along the Cape Fear River, the project will feature 2,250 residential units, commercial areas, and amenities like a private club and trails. Articulon coined "Capeton" as a portmanteau of the Cape Fear River and Lillington, capturing the essence of its geographical and cultural significance. This branding phase was crucial for gaining approvals and setting a cohesive vision for the community's development. The logo, reflecting the confluence of home, town, and river, incorporates a quatrafoil design, symbolizing unity and a sense of place. This design element, intended to be timeless, aims to influence architectural and aesthetic decisions throughout Capeton, ensuring a consistent and engaging community identity.
